Tradesperson tax relief under §35a EStG
For eligible work in an existing household, 20% of qualifying labour costs may reduce income tax, up to €1,200 per household per year. Materials are excluded. An invoice and cashless payment are required. The relief is claimed through the annual income-tax return, not monthly payroll.
